ABSTRACT

The Covid19 pandemic has been causing an unprecedented global crisis. The severity depends on how long the pandemic will last, as well as the national and international responses of governments. To prevent the spread of epidemics, it is not possible to use only economic and military might, but also "soft power" to be used to deal with it. The "soft power" in this research is Vietnam's political system. Vietnam's anti-epidemic achievements in recent years have clearly demonstrated the role of the Vietnamese political system. This study focuses on analyzing how the Vietnamese political system participates in the prevention of the Covid19 pandemic, the effects brought about by "soft power", thereby drawing lessons for the next period.Copyright © 2020 Ubiquity Press.
